Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: name, mobile number, email, password (stored only as a secure hash) and sign-in provider if you use Google or Apple.
• Business and KYC details for vendors: business name, GSTIN, PAN, registered address, bank account for payouts, and machine documents such as RC, insurance, PUC and fitness certificates.
• Booking details: machine, dates, site address, messages with the vendor or support, and payment status.
• Location: the city you choose, and live location during an active job if the vendor shares it.
• Technical data: device type, app version, IP address and error logs used to keep the service working.

Payments

Payments are handled by Cashfree Payments. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Cashfree's secure pages and are not stored by BuildRigs. We receive only the payment status, amount and a transaction reference.

How we use it

To create your account, verify vendors, match and confirm bookings, take payments, pay vendors, issue invoices, send booking updates by SMS, WhatsApp or email, provide support, prevent fraud and meet legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

• We do not sell personal data. A vendor sees only what is needed for a confirmed booking: your name, site address, contact number and rental window.
• We share data with service providers who run parts of the service for us — payment processing, cloud hosting, file storage, SMS and email delivery — under confidentiality obligations, and with authorities when the law requires it.

Storage and security

Data is stored on secure cloud servers. KYC documents are kept in private storage and are visible only to the account owner and BuildRigs verification staff. We keep data while your account is active and afterwards only as long as tax, accounting or legal rules require.

Your choices

You can view and update your profile in the app. You can ask us to correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to hello@buildrigs.com. Some records, such as invoices, must be kept by law.

Cookies

buildrigs.com uses essential cookies to keep you signed in, and performance monitoring to find errors and slow pages. We do not use advertising cookies.
